Oh my gosh dude. That captures me.

Do I give God those required thank you's, almost rehearsed, and then go put His gifts on a shelf knowing that I would never actually put them to use?

Wow. I'm blogging this.

Big J!!!!!!

First, it was great to see you on my "Walk" (you know what I mean). I read your blog, and it is nice to see your thoughts and your heart man. Keep it up, weekly or otherwise.

Keep marching on Jamie. Keep marching in whatever direction God leads you at the Chapel, just make sure that whatever you decide is right for you to do becomes worship in the process. If any job becomes a burden and does not feel like worship, it is not right for you. Jobs can get tough and still be great service and worship for God, but we should always feel that worship component. The Chapel is growing and changing every day, and new roles show up, just be ready when God calls you to a new one (and he will!). I really love Jay's approach of using ministries to build people, I know it is working on me! God keeps showing me how uncapable I am, but manages to use me anyway. Amazing.

I really am on your side and what you to run in the Lord. Sounds like you are excited about your guys bible study/ accountability group. Set out to run for the long haul and plan on sticking with it through the ups and downs. You will be amazed how much it grows you. Draw on Drew as you lead. He knows your men and will help you lead with wisdom.

Northpoint is big, they do have state-of-the-art everything, but they use it in a manner that's not distracting or rock star-ish for the most part. Also, the worship leaders are just volunteers just like David and I...Chris Tomlin leads worship at a church in Texas called AustinStone, and I'm sure he started as a volunteer too. God has blessed that church, but sometimes I wonder if they would still be ok if they lost everything...the huge budget...the theater seating...the bookstore...the money. They may be at a loss, but it's people like the volunteers who would help shape it back into life, without volunteers (and God of course) they would be nothing.

I think it's awesome that you stepped up to run sound for us when you did. Maybe God wants to move you somewhere else in the Chapel to volunteer in a new place to do new things? Either way, He's got your back and wants to use you where you'll make the best impact and grow in Him.

Thanks for being who you are! This world wouldn't be the same without Goo-Burrrrr...I mean Goo-Burg.

Did you ever make it out to the Apple Store? Rumor has it they are coming out with a video iPod with a screen that runs the length of the iPod...instead of half the iPod. So where will the click-wheel go?...it's going to be a touch-screen interface. And if rumor is correct, then it should be out by mid-April or May.

Bad news is...I hear it will cost between $400 - $500. Hot Dang!
